If you enjoy looking at cars and eating at food trucks, then you should check out Penske Cars and Coffee. This may be my favorite cars and coffee event in the Valley.

What is Penske Cars and Coffee?

If you are not familiar with the concept of cars and coffee, it is an informal gathering of people and their cars where people look at cars, talk about cars, and as you have guessed by now, drink coffee.

This particular cars and coffee is hosted by the Penske dealerships located at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Chauncey Lane.

Penske provides free coffee and water. There are always a couple food trucks there if you want to get some breakfast. The food trucks vary from month to month, but we’ve had some really tasty food from them.

The Penske Racing Museum opens early for cars and coffee too. The museum alone is worth a visit. The car collection inside is always rotating so there is usually something new there every time we visit.

Why is Penske Cars and Coffee one of my favorites?

Well, I do like a good food truck. And when you have kids with you, it’s convenient having something to feed them. So there’s that.

The vibe at Penske Cars and Coffee is also very chill. There is no super loud music blasting. Generally, no one is revving their engines or doing burnouts. I don’t have to worry about my kid getting run over.

Finally, you will often see some extremely rare cars here, like a Porsche 959 or a Ferrari F40.

When is it?

The third Saturday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The most active time appears to be between 8 and 9 a.m. After that, some of the vehicles may begin leaving.

Where is it?

Penske Racing Museum

7125 E Chauncey Lane

Phoenix, AZ 85054

People who have cars they want to display park in front of the Penske Racing Museum. The museum is between the Maserati and Bentley dealerships. If you are just coming to look, there is usually plenty of parking in front of the dealerships that face Chauncey Lane, like the Mini dealership.
