General Information About The Court
Mayer Justice Court handles about 8,500 cases per year. Mayer Justice Court is a court of limited jurisdiction, meaning it handles civil cases involving less than $10,000, civil and criminal traffic violations, and misdemeanors. If you receive a ticket from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office or Arizona Department of Public Safety inside the Court’s precinct, your case will be handled here. This Court has a large precinct, encompassing about 1,600 square miles in Yavapai County.
The Mayer Justice Court’s close proximity to the I-17 highway makes criminal speed tickets and other moving violations popular in this court. Additionally, the speed limit drops from 65 mph to 50 mph as you drive through Mayer, so if you’re not paying attention, it’s easy to get nabbed for speeding there.
How To Get Case Information
The Mayer Justice Court does not maintain its own online records, but you can look up your case using the Arizona public access site. Mayer Justice Court will take your money online though.
